Pop Mart, the global collectible toy brand, chose XGD Media's two most prominent Causeway Bay billboards — LFR and SOGO TV — for a high-impact digital advertising campaign in one of Hong Kong's busiest retail districts.
The dual-screen approach gave Pop Mart dominant visibility across the Causeway Bay shopping corridor. SOGO TV, Hong Kong's largest LED digital billboard at the iconic Sogo crossing on Hennessy Road, occupies one of the most photographed intersections in the city — the Causeway Bay crossing sees estimated foot traffic of up to 2.5 million people on weekends alone, making it one of the busiest pedestrian areas in the world. LFR, positioned on Hysan Avenue at the heart of the luxury retail precinct, reaches over 6 million pedestrians per month and reinforced the brand's presence among shoppers visiting Hysan Place, Lee Garden, and the surrounding retail hub.
Running across both screens simultaneously created a "surround sound" effect for the brand — commuters and shoppers encountered the Pop Mart campaign from multiple vantage points throughout the district, maximising recall and brand association. For a collectible brand that thrives on visual culture, social sharing, and impulse discovery, the combination of SOGO TV's massive scale and LFR's premium retail context was an ideal dual-format strategy.
Causeway Bay is Hong Kong's most visited shopping district, consistently ranking among the world's highest-rent retail corridors. XGD Media's digital billboard network in Causeway Bay gives brands access to this audience with the flexibility of LED digital content, supporting multiple creative rotations, dayparting, and programmatic triggers.
