XGD Media was honoured at The Spark Awards 2022 for the second consecutive year, winning recognition for excellence in out-of-home and digital out-of-home media campaigns. The Spark Awards, organised by Marketing-Interactive, are among the most prestigious marketing awards in Asia, recognising Hong Kong's top media companies with the most innovative, creative, and effective campaigns.
The 2022 recognition built on XGD Media's Silver and Bronze wins at the 2021 Spark Awards, extending the company's winning streak to two consecutive years. The Uber Taxi programmatic DOOH campaign, which used audience-centric data targeting through the Hivestack DSP and Vpon data partnership, was again recognised — a campaign that would go on to earn further recognition at the Spark Awards 2023, making XGD Media the only OOH company in Hong Kong to win the Spark Award three years running. The campaign also won Gold at the IAB Hong Kong Digital Awards for Best Use of Programmatic Advertising.
